What a week

This past week has been a roller coaster for our family and many of our friends. On Monday we buried a good friend of ours, the child of a very good friend of ours. He was in his early twenties, and just a joy to be around. He was not perfect, but wow, what a great guy he was. Many friends gathered together last weekend and just cried, told stories, laughed, held each other...it was terrible and wonderful all at the same time. The funeral was a wonderful celebration. I was fortunate enough to be asked to participate through music. I and the other people in the band were very nervouse before everything started, but once we got going....it was awesome. We sang and played, and it was just a great time of worship to our God, and thankgiving for letting us be a part of the young man's life. God was glorified, not only in this guys life, but also in his death. I will see him again...we will get to jam together in eternity...how cool is that!!
