I haven't blogged on this site in a few weeks. We are having a VERY mild winter here in Okla. It's only gotten down below freezing a couple of times. We have been cruising thru basketball season, but Reagan's is over next week, and Chance finishes up in March - So we are almost done for this year.
I am trying to get going in a battle of the bulge. I am 6ft 210lbs. I am told that thats pretty good, but I just feel like a tub of goo. Early in Feb I re-committed to working out, and haven't missed a day yet. Every morning before work. I'm pretty proud of myself for that. And on top of that I play basketball twice a week. Now comes the hard part, at least for me it is. Consumption. I love junk food, and I am an equal opportunity snacker. Some folks are weak for chocolate, others its chips, or burgers, or whatever. Me, I'm weak for all of them. Except cheesecake, I am strong when it comes to resisting cheesecake. So, now that I've got the exercise part down, and I'm trying to get the feed bag off. Just eat meals with smaller portions, no snacks. I do ok at home, oddly enough it is when I'm at work that it is hard.
Anyhoo, thats my struggle - I'd like to get down to 190, 185 would be even better. I was 175 when I graduated high school, and 185 when I graduated college. Wish me luck.
